LIP BLUSH - PRE-PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS
Do not work out or use sunbeds 24 hours before the procedure.
Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.
Do not drink coffee or anything containing caffeine on the day of the procedure.
Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, or fish oils 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Dermal filler should be done either 6 weeks before your lip blush appointment or 6 weeks after the procedure.
PLEASE ENSURE:
Lips are kept moisturised prior to your lip blush treatment.
A lip scrub will need to be started once a day 4 days prior to your appointment to ensure lips are prepped and dont have a rough texture.
Lip blush will not be able to go ahead on dry/flakey lips
If we tattoo dry lips the colour will not retain, the dry skin will peel off taking the pigment with it leaving you with patches of no pigment and an uneven finished result.
IMPORTANT:
If you have a history of cold sores, you will need to start taking anti-viral medication (aciclovir) one week prior to your appointment. If you are prone to cold sores and do NOT pre-treat, YOU WILL BREAK OUT!
If you break out, scab and peel, you not only will have lost some colour, but also probably traded the loss of colour for a scar!
